Microsoft Word Add-On Now Available for SEO Writing Assistant
February 4, 2022
SEO Writing Assistant (SWA) already helps you optimize and enhance your content in real time—and now you can start getting invaluable SEO recommendations for your text in Microsoft Word too!
We recently launched an official MS Word add-on for SWA, giving you access to the same insights as the Semrush, WordPress, and Google Docs versions of the tool.
As a result, the content optimization process just got a lot easier for Word users. You can now write, edit, and check content without having to switch between multiple documents and tools.
The add-on is also convenient if you outsource your content creation. You can share your Word documents with internal or external writers who can use the add-on to optimize their copy even if they don’t have a Semrush account.
Alternatively, create a new Word document and open the “Insert” tab in the menu bar. Select “My Add-Ins” and look for the SWA add-on. Once you’ve found it, click “Add” to install.
Whenever you want to use SWA in Word, simply select “Show SWA” in the “Home” tab.
