Integration with LongShot: Generate Search-Optimized Content Quickly and Easily
October 5, 2022
Semrush is delighted to announce a new integration with LongShot, an AI writer that helps you research, generate, and optimize long-form content.
Designed to supplement your human-written content, LongShot enables you to grow your blog quickly and build a valuable library of content for your users.
How Does It Work?
The integration pulls key SEO data from two Semrush tools—Keyword Overview and Backlink Analytics—which you can then use to optimize your content and boost your chances of ranking.
Specifically, you can:
Review the intent, volume, Keyword Difficulty, CPC, and competitive density of your target keywords to identify the right ones
Explore related keywords and questions to find additional opportunities
Assess the top 20 SERP results for your keyword and obtain key backlink data for each result (including Authority Score, referring domains, and the number of backlinks)
Analyze these backlinks in more detail to break down your competitors’ off-page strategies
Getting Started
If you are an existing LongShot user, you will first need to create a Semrush account. Once you’ve done this, you can set up the integration by following this handy guide.
For Semrush users who do not have a LongShot account, you can get started here. You will need to subscribe to LongShot’s Team plan to access the integration.
Note that when using the integration, the data limits of your Semrush subscription still apply. For instance, if you are using a free Semrush account, you will only be able to generate 50 broad match keyword results per day.
